Logos Christian Co-op is a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church and seeks to serve Christian homeschooling families in the Idaho Falls area. Our goal at Logos is to create a Christ-centered environment for children to learn and discover, experience group activities, develop friendships, and grow in their faith.

 

We meet once a week in two semesters, fall and spring, with classes for children in pre-K through twelfth grade. (Nursery care for children under age three will be provided for teaching parents only.)

 

One parent from each family must remain at the church while their children attend classes, unless there is an emergency situation, and they have designated another adult to be responsible for their children in that instance. This may occur on an exception-only basis since Logos is not a drop-off facility.

 

We function as a cooperative effort. As such, each family should be motivated by love to serve the co-op and each other diligently. This is crucial to the success of the ministry. Children attend classes while parents volunteer to serve in the capacity of teachers, classroom helpers, nursery helpers, cleaning crew, etc.

 

Membership to Logos Christian Co-op is required for participation in the co-op and is contingent upon receipt of the $40 annual family registration fee and completed registration forms, including liability waiver and signed statement of faith. Families are welcome to join mid-year but the annual fee will not be pro-rated.
