Based on the Bonneville County mask order, we are requesting everyone to wear a mask to church on Sunday.
I know that mandatory masking has turned into a hot button political issue and we have no desire to infringe on people’s rights, but we are requesting, based on Christian charity, respect for our local government authorities,
and the health and safety of your fellow church members, that you will be willing to do this until the Covid-19
numbers begin to decline again in our area. We will not bar anyone entry to the church for not wearing a mask,
but will highly encourage everyone to participate and we will have masks available for those who don’t have them
or forget to bring them. Your Pastors will lead by example in this also wearing masks when we are not leading worship and speaking publicly.
We also want to be able to create some space for more people to worship with us on Sunday mornings.
We have been very close to reaching our capacity for one service in the last few weeks. So, Sunday, August 2nd,
we will have one outdoor service led by Trinity River Band. Then, on August 9th, we will return to two Sunday
services at 9:30 & 11:00 am.
Sunday school classes will meet as follows (beginning August 9th):
Kids and Youth classes at 9:45 am All adult classes at 9:45 am EXCEPT
Jerry Moody’s and Gail Bird’s adult classes at 11:00 am.
A nursery for babies up to two years old and Kids’ Worship for ages 3 y/o-4th grade at the 11:00 am service.
We completely understand these circumstances are not ideal but are doing our best to respond to the current conditions in our community while still being able to gather as a church. If you have any questions or concerns
about the above-mentioned plans, please don’t hesitate to contact me (208-520-6100).
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
In Christ,
Pastor Matt
